Natural Color In Contact Lenses
|
With advancements in today's technology, glasses are increasingly being
replaced by contact lenses. One huge trend is the rise in
popularity of colored contact lenses. In fact, colored contacts
have become something of a fashion statement in recent years.
Many people wear them, even when they are not required to correct
vision. They are available in a wide range of colors, from green
to blue to brown and even violet. As their popularity has
increased, more and more people are demanding a natural look for their
colored contact lenses.
There are two major types of colored contacts available on the market,
and the color of your eyes will determine which type you will
wear. The transparent colored contact lens is the most natural
looking, but will only work on light-colored eyes, as a dark eye color
will show through the lens. The benefit of transparent colored
contacts is that the color of the contact actually blends with the true
color of the eye, for an incredibly striking yet natural look.
The other type of colored contacts are more appropriate for dark eyes,
and these are the opaque lenses. These have the capability to
completely the change the color of the eye. If you have dark
brown eyes now, you can become a blue-eyed beauty in seconds. You
will have to be very careful in selecting an opaque lens, as they do
not tend to look as natural as transparent ones. But don't
despair! It is simply a matter of trying lenses until you find
the one that looks just right on you.
One relatively new feature of opaque lenses is variegated color.
That means that the lens is not one solid color, but a variety of
shades blended together, much like your natural eye. These
improve the naturalness of the eye's appearance, but still have to be
tried, as they will look different on each individual.
Colored contacts are one of the most exciting ways to enhance your
physical appearance, because you can make such a dramatic change.
You may find that you start to get compliments on your new eye color,
and you will wonder whether you should tell that they are "fake."
If you do a good enough job at choosing a natural contact lens, nobody
will know that it is not your real eye color. So when you get the
inevitable compliments on your gorgeous eyes, just smile and say
"Thanks!"
